How About A Blueberry Mojito

by Florentina on March 8, 2012

Don’t you just love Spring ?! The sunshine just has a way of brightening up a day and lifting up our moods.  Looks like we are in for a beautiful weekend here in Southern California and what better time to shake up another one of Jacopo Falleni ‘s drinks.  This weeks creation, a Blueberry Mojito with a sexy color with purple veins and the perfume strongly dominated by the fruits.  The drink is pretty thick, but very tasty and well-balanced. I hope you enjoy it !

BLUEBERRY MOJITO

  • 3 lime wedges
  • 3/4 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz Monkey rum
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 5 blueberries

1.  Take three lime wedges and place them with ¾ oz of simple syrup (once you’ve tried this, you can adjust the amount of sugar depending on how sweet you like your drinks).

2.   Add mint and blueberries and muddle to bring the entire aroma out of your spices. You should now have a juice with a purplish color in your glass, take a nice smell!! We’re half way there!

3.  Continue by adding the two ounces of MONKEY rum,. Shake it hard with ice to release even more flavor, and serve it in a long drink glass filled with crushed ice.
