Disclosure: a big Thank You to our friends at Del Monte ® for sponsoring this post and hosting such a fabulous Friendsgiving party for us!

Happy Fall Friends! Are we ready to kick-off the Holiday season or what ? Honestly I never feel ready but here we go anyways!

Today I want to share with you some fun snapshots of last weeks Best Friends Friendsgiving Feast I am so honored to have been a part of.

It was a fun night at the Buzzfeed Tasty studios here in Los Angele, filled with a delicious dinner flavored by our friends at Del Monte and hosted by the lovely Tiffany Thiessen.

It really feels wonderful taking the time to reconnect with old friends and making new ones. After all that’s what makes life fun and worthwhile, the people we share it with!

We enjoyed fresh and flavorful dishes featuring Del Monte’s quality non-GMO veggies. To die for roasted sweet potato wedges, green bean casseroles, a fall panzanella and a super tasty green salad with persimmons, pears and pomegranate. Absolutely delish! Find some inspiration for your menu here

Let’s stop and smell the flowers, shall we ?!

Yes, the beauty you see here is 100% real and yes I got to take them home! Don’t be jelly!

Friendsgiving has really become a thing for those of us in L.A., away from our biological families but still deeply connected to those closest to us, our friends that have become our extended family.

I was particularly happy to learn more about Del Monte’s vegetables that are non-GMO, picked at the peak of ripeness and packed quickly with nothing but just water and a dash of sea salt in BPA-free cans! Wowza!

And after all the lovely dishes and cocktails, we got to leave with some swag of course, because that’s how we do in Hollywood! Del Monte veggies, a nice wooden spoon, oven mitts and even a fun apron so we can handle Friendsgiving in style. I suspect the wooden spoon is in case anyone misbehaves at the party 😉 teeheehee

But friends, I think the most exciting part is that you can share any of the images in this post on social media using the hashtag #TastyFriendsgiving + @delmonte & @buzzfeedtasty, and Del Monte® will donate 100lb of food per post (up to 10,000lbs) to Feeding America.

My heart is tickled about that!

So this holiday season let’s remember to be grateful for the people in our lives and don’t forget to Eat Your Veggies my friends! Visit Del Monte for some tasty inspiration.
