Tomato Bread Recipe ( Bruschetta )

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces thick of crusty bread
  • 1 clove large garlic
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large ripe heirloom tomato halved crosswise
  • sea salt to taste
  • your favorite sprig of fresh herbs optional

Instructions

  • Char the bread on a cast iron plate on both sides and rub it with the garlic clove.
  • Brush it with the olive oil and rub it with he cut side of the tomato until disintegrated. Season with a good pinch of sea salt and sprinkle with some fresh herbs.
