A thirst quenching, healthy cucumber lemonade with mint and honey!
Please meet our new favorite summer special at The Love Shack: this insane Cucumber Lemonade. It is so quenching and refreshing, and can’t even start to brag about how delicious it is.
Perfect project to do with the kids and also a grown up favorite, even if you skip on that shot of vodka, you know what I’m saying to you ?!
However, a cucumber lemonade with vodka sounds divine on a hot summer day!
But let’s keep it PG if kids are around okay ?!
So, all you need is a cucumber, some lemons, mint or lemon balm leaves and honey. All that stuff you probably have around the kitchen, plus one of these small blender or food processor. (amazon affiliate)
Tough you could also muddle the cucumber with a wooden spoon straight in the pitcher if you prefer. The kids will love that part !
You are free to strain your cucumber lemonade if you like …
But I would argue that’s a shame, this is the rustic kitchen plus you’d be cheating yourself out of some good fiber and vitamins.
It also looks pretty cool with tiny little green specks from the cucumber peel, don’t you agree? Whatever you want to do actually because I’m not your mom, just make a pitcher of this lemonade, drink it and get the kids involved, everybody’s Happy
Feel free to use some sparkling water in this recipe, If you prefer the fun bubbly taste and look 😉
